Spinky AK — a Rust streamer-community AK skin in a 50cm short-stock prop format. A silver-white metal effect over black, with the spinky. wordmark across the magazine. We build it from PLA in our Bavarian workshop and airbrush it by hand. Without the rear stock it comes to 50cm, so it sits on a desk, a shelf or a narrow ledge.

What stands out about the Spinky AK

The Spinky is a community skin from Rust's creator scene rather than the standard pool, made by badTRIP. It works in two tones. The body carries a brushed silver-white that shifts from mid grey to almost white as the light moves across it. Against that sit deep black areas: the receiver lines, the ribbed handguard and the perforated barrel shroud. The magazine is the signature. Black bands run across it and the word spinky. sits in the middle in white. That banding is real tape, wrapped around the magazine. Look closely at the receiver and you find a tally of scratched strokes. In Rust the weapon is officially the Assault Rifle (AR). Most players just call it the AK.

Each Spinky AK is hand-finished in Bavaria: made from PLA at 50cm, hand-airbrushed, then sealed. The magazine is removable, it slides out and back in. Receiver, magazine and barrel keep the scale of the full-length version, only the total length is shorter, because the rear shoulder stock is not part of the build.
