How do you manufacture the IRL loot?
We produce our loot on state-of-the-art 3D printers in bavaria, germany. We use plant degradable polylactide (PLA) from corn starch. Our props are very elaborate painted with professional airbrush and by hand. Each one is a unique piece of art. Our IRL loot is intended as decoration: You can hang the props on the wall or integrate them into your gaming setup. We regularly stream our factory on twitch, feel free to check it out: twitch.tv/lootroom

Its 3D printed - why do your products cost what they do?
Yes, we get it. For someone who is not familiar with the processes, it must be confusing at first glance. "I just buy a 3D-printer and i can do it by myself" - The idea itself is not wrong, 3d printers are awesome. But it is not fully thought through: The 3D printing process is only one part of the whole chain. For example: An elaborate skin takes several hours of painting, by a human - not a machine. And you need to have really good skills for it. What else is included in the costs: 3D-file creation, filament, 3D-printers, electricity, license fees, maintenance, shipping, packing, development, website, marketing, payroll and of course a profit - we can't run the company on a voluntary basis :-) Nevertheless, we understand everyone who finds these products too expensive, they are luxury products. We do not force anyone to buy, it is an offer.
-
Are you selling official licensed products/merchandise?
Yes, for Rust and Garry's Mod products, lootroom GmbH is officially affiliated, endorsed, and licenced by Facepunch Studios. For other games, lootroom is not affiliated, endorsed by, or in any way associated with Steam, Valve, Microsoft, Blizzard, Overwatch or any of its subsidiaries or its affiliates. The Products are considered as Fan Art. If you have any concerns, please contact us.
-
Do you also make custom irl loot and skins?
Yes, of course! We are very happy to do that. Join our discord, open a ticket and we can discuss your wishes.
-
Are there moving parts on the weapon props?
No, our products are basically decorative items and therefore we do not use moving parts. Nevertheless, you can remove the mag of the AK, for example.
-
Why do your product images have orange caps on the front barrel?
This is necessary to advertise our products on the internet. You will receive your props without the orange cap.
-
Will other irl loot be added in the future?
We will offer more items and skins in the future. We also have more games in mind.
-
How can I know about future product launches and giveaways?
You can follow our social medias in the top right. Our discord will have all information as well.
-
Why does it say 16+ in product description?
Our products are made of individual parts, which can break off if used improperly. The broken parts pose a potential danger (e.g. choking hazard) for children. So please keep your irl loot at a safe distance from children. We accept no liability for damage or injuries caused by disregard.
-
Do you make real weapons?
No, our products are not real, functional military weapons, they cannot be modified to fire anything. They are intended for collecting, entertainment purposes and making chad plays. But please do not use our loot in public, you might scare other people.
-
Is there anything to know about product handling?
Please keep your irl loot away from water and direct sun light.
-
I have sent you an email but have not received a reply?
Please check your spam folder. Also keep in mind that we may live in a different time zone and it might take a little longer therefore.

Is shipping really free?
Yes, standard shipping is free of charge for all orders above $100! For orders below $100, standard shipping fees apply (calculated at checkout).

-
What about shipping to the US and Canada?
Works perfectly, we ship a lot across the atlantic.
-
What about shipping to Australia?
Because of the very strict gunlaw, which also concerns replicas of weapons, we ship our props in multiple packages so they are not confiscated at customs. That's how we've been doing it for a long time, and it works. We do not charge extra for this. Unfortunately, we cannot ship the smaller gun props (which cannot be dismantled) to Australia. However, this is indicated in the product description if applicable. If you have any questions, please contact us before ordering.
-
What about shipping to China and Japan?
This works very well, we need the address in Latin/Roman characters. For China, the recipient's identity card number must be provided.
-
What about shipping to critical areas such as Ukraine, Russia, etc?
The shipping basically works but you should expect delays. The situation can change from time to time. Please also contact your regional carrier for more specific informations before ordering.
-
What about shipping to the UK?
We ship a lot to the UK, there are no problems but please note that the UK is no longer part of the EU since the Brexit in January 2021 and therefore import duties are possible. More on this topic in the next question.
-
What about import fees, customs, duties and VAT?
Taxes within the european union are already included. Outside the EU your country may require you to pay import fees, customs, duties and value added taxes (VAT), etc. which are not included in the free shipping listed on our website. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. Please be aware that you may need to work with your local post office to pay customs and duties before they release your shipment to you. If you fail to pay applicable duties, taxes and fees the package will be abandoned and lootroom will not refund the abandoned order, including shipping charges and fees.
-

3d STL files for self-printing
-
Do you sell the 3d print files so I can print the loot myself?
Yes, we sell exactly the same files that we use for our products.
-
Can I refund a digital purchase?
No, digital downloads are not refundable.
-
What size should my print bed be?
Our files are designed for the standard dimensions of 256 x 256 x 256 mm. However, depending on which slicer you use, you can cut individual parts and thus also print the files successfully on smaller printers.
-
Which configuration should I use for printing?
Our files can be printed with the standard settings of PLA without any problems. But of course you can also optimize everything and thus achieve even faster prints.
-
Which filament should I use?
We use ecoPLA gray from 3D jake. But you can also use any other standard PLA. However, pay attention to the temperatures of the individual filaments.
-
Which slicer should I work with?
Our files can be processed with all common slicers.
-
Some parts don't fit together, what should I do?
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the prints will be 1:1 as we would print them. Every 3D printer is different and has different characteristics - not to mention if you have assembled yours yourself. For error analysis, a good starting point is to visit support forums from the respective manufacturer and/or watch videos on youtube for the correct configuration. Sometimes a little scaling around the different parts can also help to fit them together. Please understand that we cannot offer individual printer configuration support.
-
What colors should I use for painting?
We recommend acrylic paint to paint your props.
-
Can I use the files commercially?
No, the files are not for commercial purposes. The files are for one single person use only. They are not to be shared or re-sold without permission even if modified in any way. Finished prints are not to be sold unless the recipient has bought the files from lootroom GmbH. Please contact us for any questions regarding this matter.
If you have any further questions feel free to contact us via the support tab or create a ticket on our Discord.
