Rust Team Rocket (Buddha & Mendo) Skin AK

Team Rocket AK: Buddha and Mendo's red and black AK from Rust, in the 50cm short-stock build. Printed in PLA and hand-airbrushed in our Bavarian workshop, compact enough for a desk or a shelf.

Red, black and an R everywhere you look

The name is painted onto the piece itself: TEAM ROCKET, in white handwritten letters across the black panel on the side of the receiver. A large silver R closes off the back of the receiver, and the magazine carries a grid of red R's on black from top to bottom. Red holds the receiver, the handguard shroud and the frame of the grip, worn back to black along the edges, while the barrel, the gas tube and the dust cover stay black. Punched steel plates sit over the handguard and the grip, silver with the rivets left showing, and the muzzle brake goes back to red and black. Real tape is wrapped around the magazine, painted over with everything else.

What the short build changes

In Rust it's officially the Assault Rifle (AR), though most players just say AK or AK-47. The short format leaves off the rear shoulder stock: total length comes down to 50cm, while the receiver, magazine and barrel keep the scale of the full-length version.

Every Team Rocket AK is printed in PLA, airbrushed and sealed in our workshop. The magazine comes out and goes back in. On a desk, on a shelf or next to other compact AKs: official Rust merchandise built to last for years.
