Rust Lunar (Moons) Skin AK

Lunar AK: Rust's moon skin on the AK, searched by plenty of people simply as Moons, hand-painted as a 1:1 lifesize prop at the full 75cm. Printed in PLA and airbrushed in our Bavarian workshop, with the stock fitted, finished for display rather than play.

The surface of the moon, crater by crater

From a metre away it reads as rock rather than as a gun. The entire piece is painted as moon surface, pitted with craters of every size, some barely there and some deep, each one rimmed light with the floor left in shadow. Grey, white and black is the whole palette. It carries on over the grip, over the handguard and into the loop of the stock. Real tape sits at the neck of the stock and on the magazine, painted the same grey as the rest, and a pale line runs across the magazine like a scrape.

The full AK, at 75cm

In Rust it's officially the Assault Rifle (AR), though most players just say AK or AK-47. This is the long build with the stock fitted, 75cm end to end. The detail is printed into the part.
