We built a 1:1 lifesize Rust AK prop replica in PLA, 75cm end to end, hand-painted in our Bavarian workshop: the AK with Default Skin, lifted from the in-game model and built for your shelf.

The Default AK has been in Rust since launch: the assault rifle every clan crafts and every solo dreams of. No fade, no comic panels, no neon glow: just the vanilla look every Rust player knows, gunmetal grey with wood-effect grips, the orange handguard, the red stock, and the chunky bolt that has defined late-wipe combat ever since. Our replica nails the proportions, the texture on the handguard, and the receiver stamping: the silhouette that reads instantly across the room. In Rust it's officially the Assault Rifle (AR), though most players just call it the AK or AK-47.

Built for collectors, streamers and Rust setups

Each Rust AK prop is hand-finished in Bavaria, made from PLA, hand-airbrushed, sealed. Removable magazine, the iconic smiley on the receiver, and the bandage wrapped around the mag. The smiley and the bandage both reproduce details from the Default Skin texture in-game. On a shelf, across a desk, or behind a stream backdrop: the IRL version of the in-game AK, official Rust merchandise rather than a generic prop gun. Lifesize and built to display for years.

What players ask about the Default AK

How close is this prop to the in-game model? We model straight from the game asset proportions: receiver length, stock angle, the curve of the magazine. Hold it next to the in-game render and the silhouette lines up. Because every piece is painted by hand, no two come out exactly alike.

Where do the smiley and the bandage come from? Both are straight out of the in-game Default Skin, which is exactly how the default AK looks in game. On the physical replica we stick the smiley on and wrap the bandage around the magazine as the last step of the build.

What sets the Default AK apart from the skinned AK props in your shop? Same lifesize body, different paint job. Alien Red, Comics, From Hell, Retrowave and the rest all build on this exact body.
