Your blank canvas: paint your own AK skin
This is the unfinished version of our Rust AK prop, built to be a starting point. Recreate a skin from the game (Alien Red, Comics, From Hell) or invent one of your own — the smooth PLA takes acrylic paint cleanly. Worth saying early, because photos flatten it: the tone is light grey, not white.
The Rust AK, bare and full size
It's the same 75cm model as our painted AKs, just unfinished. In Rust it's officially the Assault Rifle (AR), though to players it stays the AK or AK-47. What players ask about the DIY AK
Is it painted? No. It arrives in light grey, straight off the printer: a blank canvas for your own paintjob.
What paint should I use? Acrylics hold best on PLA. They'll let you recreate any in-game skin or design your own.
How is it different from your painted AKs? The paint, nothing else. Same 75cm lifesize model: the painted versions we airbrush by hand, the DIY you finish yourself.

Is this a functional firearm?
No. Every piece we make is a non-firing display prop. Nothing inside moves or fires, the barrel is not bored through, and there are no working parts. It is built to be looked at, not fired.
How long does shipping take?
Once shipped, Germany 1–3 days, the rest of Europe 3–7 days, and 7–14 days everywhere else. Tracked by the regional carrier depending on destination country.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship to 40+ countries from our workshop in Bavaria.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
14 days, no questions asked. Item must be returned in its original packaging. Customs on international returns are the buyer's responsibility.
How do I clean and care for it?
A microfiber cloth and a dry brush is all you need. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners and direct sunlight for long periods. Our matte sealer is robust but it's not invincible.
