About this piece
The Rust SAR as a DIY kit: light grey, bare, and the paintjob is yours to make. 75cm, 1:1 lifesize, printed in PLA in our Bavarian workshop and left exactly as it comes off the plate. All it's missing is your acrylics.
A blank base, everything after that is your call
This is our SAR prop without paint, built as a starting point. The smooth PLA takes acrylic cleanly, whether you're rebuilding a streamer skin, Anthric or bchillz say, or inventing one of your own. And so the photos don't mislead anyone: the tone is light grey, not white.
The SAR, bare and full size
It's the same 75cm model as our painted SARs, just unpainted: in Rust it's officially the Semi-Automatic Rifle, the mid-game workhorse. Everything here is PLA, down to the wrap on the barrel, which comes straight off the print. It arrives in a few parts that plug together, no glue and no fiddling. What players ask about the DIY SAR
Is it painted? No. It arrives in light grey, straight off the printer: a blank canvas for your own paintjob.
What paint should I use? Acrylics hold best on PLA. They'll let you recreate any in-game skin or design your own.
How is it different from your painted SARs? The paint, nothing else. Same 75cm lifesize model: the painted versions we airbrush by hand, the DIY you finish yourself.

Is this a functional firearm?
No. Every piece we make is a non-firing display prop. Nothing inside moves or fires, the barrel is not bored through, and there are no working parts. It is built to be looked at, not fired.
How long does shipping take?
Once shipped, Germany 1–3 days, the rest of Europe 3–7 days, and 7–14 days everywhere else. Tracked by the regional carrier depending on destination country.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship to 40+ countries from our workshop in Bavaria.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
14 days, no questions asked. Item must be returned in its original packaging. Customs on international returns are the buyer's responsibility.
How do I clean and care for it?
A microfiber cloth and a dry brush is all you need. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners and direct sunlight for long periods. Our matte sealer is robust but it's not invincible.
