RUST1:1 IRL propRust Gearlord Skin AK
About this piece
Gearlord AK: Rust's Gearlord skin on the AK, in the 50cm short-stock build. Printed in PLA and hand-airbrushed in our Bavarian workshop, compact enough for a desk or a shelf.
Turquoise, chequerboard and a steel skull
The receiver is dark turquoise, broken up by a black chequerboard. A steel skull sits at the back of it, eye sockets filled red, a row of teeth underneath, rivets left showing, and a band of red and white spikes running around it. Small hand-painted marks are spread along the flank: a cogwheel, the outline of a spanner, a cross with an arrow, white chevrons. The magazine and grip are dark red-brown with chains and rivets painted over them. The handguard stays bare drilled steel, and the barrel carries a yellow-and-black warning band. On top of the receiver sits an orange and yellow flame.
What the short build changes
In Rust it's officially the Assault Rifle (AR), though most players just say AK or AK-47. The short format leaves off the rear shoulder stock: total length comes down to 50cm, while the receiver, magazine and barrel keep the scale of the full-length version.
Hand-made in Bavaria
Every Gearlord AK is printed in PLA, airbrushed and sealed in our workshop. The magazine comes out and goes back in. On a desk, on a shelf or next to other compact AKs: official Rust merchandise built to last for years.
What players ask about the Gearlord AK
What is the Gearlord skin in Rust? An AK skin in turquoise and black chequerboard, with a riveted steel skull at the back of the receiver and small mechanical marks spread along the flank.
Can I take the magazine out? Yes, it slides out and goes back in. Handy for photos or for changing the display angle.
Why is this AK 50cm instead of 75cm? Because the rear stock isn't part of the build. Everything else keeps the scale of the full-length version, only the total length changes.

Frequently asked
Is this a functional firearm?
No. Every piece we make is a non-firing display prop. Nothing inside moves or fires, the barrel is not bored through, and there are no working parts. It is built to be looked at, not fired.
How long does shipping take?
Once shipped, Germany 1–3 days, the rest of Europe 3–7 days, and 7–14 days everywhere else. Tracked by the regional carrier depending on destination country.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship to 40+ countries from our workshop in Bavaria.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
14 days, no questions asked. Item must be returned in its original packaging. Customs on international returns are the buyer's responsibility.
How do I clean and care for it?
A microfiber cloth and a dry brush is all you need. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners and direct sunlight for long periods. Our matte sealer is robust but it's not invincible.
Can I commission a custom finish?
Absolutely. Drop into our Discord, open a ticket with your reference images, and we'll come back with a quote and timeline. No upfront fees for the quote.
