Near-black, with turquoise running through it

The body sits in a near-black anthracite with the edges drybrushed up in silver, and turquoise runs through the whole piece: a ring around the barrel, a strip set into the receiver, a line down the magazine. On the side a rosette opens around a turquoise core, and next to it a row of alien glyphs glows turquoise inside a framed panel. Grip and shoulder rest break the scheme in a pale, clouded bone tone. All of it is painted on, glyphs included; the red-brown bands wrapped around grip and stock are real bands.

The Alien Relic is one of Rust's sci-fi finishes for the SMG, built around relic detailing rather than camo or colour. Officially the weapon is the Custom SMG; nobody says that in game. Our replica keeps the silhouette tight to the in-game model and puts the relic detail in with the airbrush.
