Bare on purpose: this is where you start
This is our Rust SMG prop exactly as it leaves the printer, built to be a base. Smooth PLA takes acrylic cleanly, whether you're rebuilding a skin from the game, Alien Relic or BeccaSomething say, or inventing one of your own. And so the photos don't mislead: the tone is light grey, not white.
The Custom SMG, bare and full size
It's the same 66cm model as our painted SMGs, just unpainted: Rust's craftable SMG, officially the Custom SMG, the one that empties fast at close range. Everything here is PLA, down to the knurled sleeves on the barrel and the printed bands on the grip. It arrives in a few parts that plug together, no glue and no fiddling. What players ask about the DIY SMG
Is it painted? No. It arrives in light grey, straight off the printer: a blank canvas for your own paintjob.
What paint should I use? Acrylics hold best on PLA. They'll let you recreate any in-game skin or design your own.
How is it different from your painted SMGs? The paint, nothing else. Same 66cm lifesize model: the painted versions we airbrush by hand, the DIY you finish yourself.

Is this a functional firearm?
No. Every piece we make is a non-firing display prop. Nothing inside moves or fires, the barrel is not bored through, and there are no working parts. It is built to be looked at, not fired.
How long does shipping take?
Once shipped, Germany 1–3 days, the rest of Europe 3–7 days, and 7–14 days everywhere else. Tracked by the regional carrier depending on destination country.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship to 40+ countries from our workshop in Bavaria.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
14 days, no questions asked. Item must be returned in its original packaging. Customs on international returns are the buyer's responsibility.
How do I clean and care for it?
A microfiber cloth and a dry brush is all you need. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners and direct sunlight for long periods. Our matte sealer is robust but it's not invincible.
