This is the grey, unpainted version of our Rust SMG prop — a blank base for your own paintjob. The smooth PLA surface takes acrylic paint cleanly, so you can recreate an in-game skin (Alien Relic) or invent your own. The plain grey finish is the neutral starting point before any colour goes on.

It's the same 1:1 lifesize 66cm body as our painted SMGs, just bare — Rust's craftable submachine gun (officially the Custom SMG), the high-fire-rate close-quarters weapon. Is it painted? No — this is the unpainted grey (DIY) version. It arrives as a bare PLA Custom SMG, a blank canvas for your own paintjob.
What paint should I use? Acrylic paints work best on the PLA surface. Recreate any in-game skin or design your own.
How does it compare to your painted SMGs? Same 66cm lifesize Custom SMG body — the painted versions are hand-airbrushed by us, the DIY is left grey for you to finish yourself.

Is this a functional firearm?
No. Every piece we make is a non-firing display prop. There is no functional bolt or firing mechanism, no barrel bore, and no live parts. It is built to be looked at, not fired.
How long does shipping take?
Standard production lead time is 7–10 working days from order. Once shipped, EU 2–4 days, US 4–8 days, ROW 5–14 days. Tracked via DHL or USPS depending on destination.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes — we ship to 50+ countries from our workshop in Bavaria.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
14 days, no questions asked. Item must be returned in its original packaging. Customs on international returns are the buyer's responsibility.
How do I clean and care for it?
A microfiber cloth and a dry brush is all you need. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners and direct sunlight for long periods. Our matte sealer is robust but it's not invincible.
