About this piece
Rust Hammer — the building tool as a 1:1 lifesize replica, 25cm tall. The hammer every Rust base is built and repaired with, printed in PLA and hand-airbrushed in our Bavarian workshop. It reads as solid timber all over: warm browns from pale honey to near-black, grain brushed on by hand, dark splits running along the head.
Rust's hammer, on your desk
The hammer is the tool behind every Rust base. You craft it early, then use it to upgrade walls, repair after a raid and extend the place room by room: as fundamental as the rock you start with. Our replica follows the Default skin down to the handle coming through the top of the head as a round plug with the end grain showing.
A hand-painted Rust collectible
Each Hammer is finished by hand in Bavaria: PLA printed at 25cm, 240 grams, airbrushed and sealed. There is no metal anywhere on it, and no real wood either. The head is slightly bellied rather than square, which is what makes it read as carved. Official Rust merchandise, with free shipping on orders over €100.

No. Nothing on it works: no electronics, no moving parts, nothing that lights up or opens. It's printed and hand-painted, and what we're after is the look, wear and all.

How do I clean and care for it?
A microfiber cloth and a dry brush is all you need. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners and direct sunlight for long periods. Our matte sealer is robust but it's not invincible.
