Santa Muerte AK: Rust's Día de Muertos skin on the AK, hand-painted as a 1:1 lifesize prop at the full 75cm. Printed in PLA and airbrushed in our Bavarian workshop, with the stock fitted, finished for display rather than play.

A face painted the length of the receiver

Start at the back and work forward. The rear of the stock is wrapped in real tape, painted yellow and banded with black; the loop and the grip ahead of it are red under a white spiderweb and white scrollwork. The magazine carries its own band of red, yellow and green zigzags, with triangles and small spirals in it, and a real bandage wrapped above it, painted over with everything else. Then the receiver turns into a face: two big eyes with dark teal irises, each set in a ring of yellow and red petals, a heart-shaped nose in the same teal between them, and red lips crossed by a painted seam sitting right over the magazine well. Brown strands run down from the temples, red roses lie along the receiver cover, gold rivets are spread over the sides. Forward of all that, the ribs of the handguard are red with green at the base and the gas tube carries red and yellow rings.

The full AK, at 75cm

In Rust it's officially the Assault Rifle (AR), though most players just say AK or AK-47. This is the long build with the stock fitted, 75cm end to end. The detail is printed into the part.

Every Santa Muerte AK is printed in PLA, airbrushed and sealed in our workshop. The magazine comes out and goes back in. On a desk, on a shelf or behind a stream: official Rust merchandise built to last for years.
