This is the grey, unpainted version of our short Rust AK prop — a blank base for your own paintjob. The smooth PLA surface takes acrylic paint cleanly, so you can recreate an in-game skin or invent your own. Its plain grey finish is the neutral starting point before any colour goes on (some players search for it as the "white AK").

Same short-stock 50cm body as our painted short AKs, just bare — the Custom AK silhouette without the rear stock, for a tighter footprint. What players ask about the short DIY AK
Is it painted? No — this is the unpainted grey (DIY) version, a bare PLA AK and a blank canvas for your own paintjob.
What paint should I use? Acrylic paints work best on the PLA surface. Recreate any in-game skin or design your own.
Why is it 50cm instead of 75cm? It's the short, stock-less format — the AK without its rear stock, so total length comes down to 50cm with a tighter footprint.

Is this a functional firearm?
No. Every piece we make is a non-firing display prop. There is no functional bolt or firing mechanism, no barrel bore, and no live parts. It is built to be looked at, not fired.
How long does shipping take?
Standard production lead time is 7–10 working days from order. Once shipped, EU 2–4 days, US 4–8 days, ROW 5–14 days. Tracked via DHL or USPS depending on destination.
Do you ship worldwide?

Can I return it if I change my mind?
14 days, no questions asked. Item must be returned in its original packaging. Customs on international returns are the buyer's responsibility.
How do I clean and care for it?
A microfiber cloth and a dry brush is all you need. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners and direct sunlight for long periods. Our matte sealer is robust but it's not invincible.
