The iconic Rust metal facemask, in the Sunrise skin

The facemask is Rust's signature piece of head armour: in-game it's the Metal Facemask, the full-face mask that signals "fully geared" the moment it appears over a wall. Sunrise paints the mask like a folk-art skull, in flat blocks of colour with everything outlined in black. A black band runs across the brow, scattered with white dots, white spirals and red teardrops, and below it a strip of ochre and turquoise carries a row of dark squiggles. The small yellow sun at the top centre is the one that gives the skin its name. A tall figure stands between the two eye openings, white-edged with a blue triangle above a red column, and the cheeks open into a wide ochre field of black spirals. Along the bottom a red sawtooth band runs above a broad grin of silver teeth, framed in turquoise and blue. Our replica captures the curve of the mask, the two eye openings and the Sunrise detailing, modeled on how it reads in-game.

Each Sunrise facemask is hand-finished in Bavaria: made from PLA, hand-airbrushed, sealed. Every mask has two pre-drilled holes, and you choose at checkout whether to add a strap: pick "none" for a pure display piece, which those two holes let you hang straight on a wall, or "add face velcro strap" to make it wearable. At 1:1 lifesize it works as a shelf centrepiece or the finishing piece of a Rust cosplay. Whether you write it "facemask" or "face mask", this is the metal mask every survivor recognises. That's on purpose: PLA is far lighter, which makes it comfortable to wear for cosplay and easy to mount for display, while still closely matching the shape and finish of the in-game metal facemask.

Can you wear it? Yes, if you add the strap. Every mask has two pre-drilled holes; the velcro strap itself is the paid option. Choose "add face velcro strap" and the facemask becomes wearable for cosplay, or pick "none" if you want it purely for display. Either way it's the full 1:1 lifesize size.
