About this piece
The Rust MP5 as a DIY kit: light grey, bare, and the skin is up to you. 70cm, 1:1 lifesize, printed in PLA and left exactly as it comes out of our Bavarian workshop. What goes on top is your call and a few acrylics.
The neutral starting point: your skin begins here
This is our Rust MP5 without paint, built to be a base. The smooth PLA takes acrylic cleanly, whether you're rebuilding a skin from the game, Tempered or MarkPlayz say, or inventing one of your own. And so the photos don't mislead anyone: the tone is light grey, not white.
The MP5, bare and full size
It's the same 70cm model as our painted MP5s, just unpainted: Rust's rapid-fire mid-game SMG, officially the MP5A4. It arrives in a few parts that plug together, no glue and no fiddling. Once you're done: on a shelf, across a desk, or in your stream backdrop. Official Rust merchandise.
What players ask about the DIY MP5
Is it painted? No. It arrives in light grey, straight off the printer: a blank canvas for your own paintjob.
What paint should I use? Acrylics hold best on PLA. They'll let you recreate any in-game skin or design your own.
How is it different from your painted MP5s? The paint, nothing else. Same 70cm lifesize model: the painted versions we airbrush by hand, the DIY you finish yourself.

Is this a functional firearm?
No. Every piece we make is a non-firing display prop. Nothing inside moves or fires, the barrel is not bored through, and there are no working parts. It is built to be looked at, not fired.
How long does shipping take?
Once shipped, Germany 1–3 days, the rest of Europe 3–7 days, and 7–14 days everywhere else. Tracked by the regional carrier depending on destination country.

Can I return it if I change my mind?
14 days, no questions asked. Item must be returned in its original packaging. Customs on international returns are the buyer's responsibility.
How do I clean and care for it?
A microfiber cloth and a dry brush is all you need. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners and direct sunlight for long periods. Our matte sealer is robust but it's not invincible.
