The Default skin is the vanilla version: bare metal look, no decoration, just the shape every survivor recognises across a compound. Our replica captures the curved shell, the eye slit and the riveted detailing exactly as it reads in-game.

What is the facemask in Rust? The Metal Facemask — Rust's full-face head armour and the clearest sign a player is fully geared. The Default skin is the plain, unskinned version.

Is it actually made of metal? In Rust it's called the Metal Facemask, so that's how most players search for it — our replica is hand-airbrushed PLA rather than steel. That's on purpose: PLA is far lighter, which makes it comfortable to wear for cosplay and easy to mount for display, while still capturing the exact shape and finish of the in-game metal facemask.

Can you wear it? Yes — choose the "add a face velcro strap" option and the facemask becomes wearable for cosplay; pick "none" if you want it purely for display. Either way it's the full 1:1 lifesize size.
